ISOS is offering a new course on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).  Is this relevant to your company?

In the EU, CSRD came into force on 5 January 2023. It amends the Non-financial Reporting Directive (NFRD) and requires broader set of large companies, as well as listed SMEs, to report on sustainability. It modernizes and strengthens rules concerning social and environmental information that companies must report. Companies that are subject to CSRD are required to report according to European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

The GRI Standards PLUS training is open to those who are new to sustainability reporting or seeking to broaden their understanding of the subject. The course covers three modules developed by GRI:

  1. Introduction to Sustainability Reporting and the GRI Standards

  2. Stakeholder Engagement

  3. Materiality

PLUS extended time dedicated to real-world application of the GRI Standards that help translate concepts into practice. It provides examples, exercises, and advisory tools for students, consultants, and other sustainability practitioners charged with implementing the GRI Standards within various organizations. Through discussion of reporting examples, best practices, tips and tools, you will learn about practical steps you can take to incorporate the GRI Standards into their new or existing sustainability reporting process.

This 16-hour GRI Standards PLUS training course will be offered across four 4-hour sessions and taught using an interactive online platform. Upon completion, participants will earn 3 out of the 5 credit points towards GRI’s professional certification program.
