How Board Members Really Feel About ESG, From Deniers to True Believers: This piece published April 19th in the Harvard Business Review explores the gap between those literally on board with ESG measures and those who are not quite there, while describing character types that we can all relate to.
Sustainability Reports and the Limitations of Limited Assurance was explored in a recent piece released by the CPA Journal. In that, the author argues that the tension between traditional auditing and non-financial auditing where ‘limited assurance’ reports may compromise the quality of the reported information when all management systems, underlying processes, and depth aren’t thoroughly reviewed. However, anyone who has gone through the process knows that it takes readiness and a certain level of maturity before one can even begin to consider assurance/verification.
