European Sustainability Reporting Standards
In this GRI Certified training course, you will be introduced to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the instrument for achieving CSRD compliance, the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). You will learn about the structure and key characteristics of the ESRS and find out how to leverage your current reporting processes and practices to report with the ESRS. In addition, you will learn how GRI Standards and ESRS are aligned.
In the course, we provide examples, exercises, and advisory tools for students, consultants, and other sustainability practitioners looking to learn about ESRS. This course is aimed at reporting practitioners and those supporting sustainability reporting practices who have experience using the GRI Standards. A solid understanding of the GRI Standards and how to use them for sustainability reporting is recommended. This 6-hour GRI training course will be taught on Zoom across two 3-hour sessions. This course qualifies for Continuing Education Units in GRI’s professional certification program.
